DestyWay · places worth finding

Travel the world as if you knew someone there.

DestyWay brings together places to stay, experiences and local services that I find as I travel: from a small hostel in the Andes to an expedition through the Amazon. It starts in Peru. The idea is for it to grow country by country, without turning into an anonymous catalogue.

The DestyWay rule: prioritise small businesses, local contact and experiences with something to tell. When a recommendation is part of a commercial project, it's flagged.

A structure built to grow.

Today there are only a few projects. Tomorrow there could be hundreds: hostels, surf schools, rentals, horse rides, retreats, guides, workshops or experiences I haven't discovered yet.

Destinations

One country now. Many later.

I'd rather open a country once I've been there and have something useful to add. For now, the whole DestyWay structure starts in Peru.

From travel blog to local network

DestyWay comes from travelling, not from filling a database.

The project began as my travel notebook: routes, mistakes, prices and places I liked. As I met guides, hostels and small businesses with little online presence, it started to make more sense to connect the two.

The blog is still here. It's the part that explains why I recommend a place and how to plan a trip around those experiences.
